Illusionary Frames 2025

Illusionary Frames was created by Turner to discover the different perspectives that an image can have. They used a mixture of techniques to create an illusion type imagery which distorts the viewer’s perspective. The atmosphere and viewer’s own interpretations will change the story and view of the imagery making it unique to each individual.

From her love of horror, Turner experimented with technical codes- such as lighting and editing- to help form a narrative. These cinematic elements are used within Turner’s experiments to intrigue and engage the viewer as well as blur the line between reality and illusion.
