LIBBY TURNER

Born in England, 2006, Libby Turner has worked across a range of photographic subject matters for over five years. With experience in varied environments and professional bookings from the age of 16, she has developed a versatile and intuitive approach to photography.​

Most of Turner’s work focuses on live music and theatre performance. This interest developed naturally through growing up around music and learning multiple instruments, giving her a strong understanding of timing, movement, and live performance.​​

Through her years of photography, Turner has challenged herself to experiment and try different photography paths to find the ones that fit her best. Turner has learnt lots of different skills and clients by doing this which will help her in the future to grow as a photographer. 

Professional Experience:

Turner's professional work started when she was 16 after observing and learning others work during her secondary school's concerts and musicals. Once ready she was given the opportunity to start taking the photos and learn from her own mistakes. This led into her taking the school's concert and musical photos for over 3 years now and is still going to this day. These opportunities have not only allowed her to experience being paid for her work but also to experience new challenges and growth in her own work.

She was also given the opportunity to work on the school's sports day testing her skills with fast motion and obstacles. Through this she has now been asked to return in July for their next upcoming sports day.
